A Ripe Volcano mengajak kita  mengunjungi kembali Hotel Royal, tempat di mana pasukan militer menangkap  dan menyiksa warga sipil, mahasiswa dan pengunjuk rasa yang bersembunyi di dalam hotel selama Mei Hitam 1992, dan Rajadamnern Stadion, sebuah arena tinju Muay Thai bergaya amfiteater Romawi  yang dibangun pada 1941-45 selama Perang Dunia Kedua dan sejak itu telah menjadi teater labirin ledakan fisik dan mental.

A Ripe Volcano revisits The Royal Hotel, the site where the military troops captured and tortured the civilians, students and protesters who were hiding inside the hotel during the Black May of 1992; and Rajadamnern Stadium, a Roman amphitheatre styled Muay Thai boxing arena, which was built in 1941-45 during the Second World War and since then has become the theatrical labyrinth of physical and mental explosions.
